ISLIP, Irene W.; Peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday September 10, 2007, of Waterford in her 93rd year. Loving daughter of the late George and Annie Islip. Dear sister-in-law of Florence Islip. Loved Aunt of Barbara (& Jim) Melville, David (& Lynda) Islip, great nieces and nephews Jamie Melville; Tiffany (& Andrew) Swanson, William (& Joanne) Islip, and great great niece Gabriella Swanson. Also survived by family in England. Predeceased by brother James Islip and niece Karin Gibbs. Irene worked in the Textile Industries for over 45 years. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Thursday 4-8. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Friday at 11 am. Rev. Darlene Cunliffe officiating.
