Obituary of Brian Hayes

HAYES, Brian George; It is with sadness the family announces the death of Brian at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday October 30, 2013, of Waterford at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Judi (Stevack). Dear brother of John (and Karen), Keith (and Donna), Claire (and Helen), Allan (and Gail). Brian will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours. Predeceased by parents Ralph and Helen Hayes, and his Uncle Don Anderson. Brian was a former member of Canadian Arm Forces, and a dedicated member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 123. Brian's kind nature was well known, and shown through his generous helping hand to friends and neighbours. Brian had a keen interest in history and enjoyed reading about the Old West. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Sunday 1-4pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11am. Rev. Adolph Hahn officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Spruce Row Museum or Hamilton General Hospital.
