CHAMBERLAIN, Pearl Edith (Edie); Edie passed away peacefully at home on Monday November 18, 2013, surrounded by the love of her family and loving dogs Sandy and Tucker. Edie is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, James (Jay) and her two wonderful sons Jamie and Matt. Edie will always be remembered by her mother Mae Lawrie and by her brothers and sisters John (Lynn), Karen (Pat Sinkowski), Sue Stewart, and Rob (Vicki). Edie will also be remembered by her mother-in-law Ina Chamberlain and by many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Edie was predeceased by her father Jim Lawrie, father-in-law Royce Chamberlain, brother-in-law George Stewart, niece Chrissy Lawrie and nephew David Smith. Edie was a crossing guard at Main and College in Waterford for many years and also a bar steward at Waterford Legion for over 14 years. Edie was also a member of the Waterford Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 123. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Thursday from 12p.m. until service time in the chapel at 2p.m. Rev. Adolph Hahn officiating. A family interment will take place at a later date at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery. Donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada, Canadian Diabetes Foundation or charity of your choice.
