Obituary of Rocklyn Young

Young- "Rocky", Rocklyn Alfred (1940-2008) Passed away suddenly at home Monday April 14th 2008. In New Hamburg, at the age of 67. Survived by his loving companion, Mary Hipel. His parents Mervyn and Ruth, brother Hillary and sisters Jennifer and Brenda. Father to Sherri (Tom) Jantzi and Sean Young. Step father to Mike,Keith,Archie and Paul Schneider. As a loving grandfather will be missed by his grandchildren, Candice, Ashley, April, Michael, Nowah, and Nathan. Rocky will be missed by his band members Ray and Maurice of " The Boys from Down Home ". The family will receive friends and relatives at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Thursday, April 17 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be Friday April 18 at 11 am in the chapel. Lunch will follow at Waterford Legion. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetic Association.
