Obituary of Maurice Fitzpatrick

FITZPATRICK, Maurice Joseph; Born April 13, 1921 at Allumette Island, Quebec. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 25, 2014, surrounded by the love of his family at Cedarwood Village Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Loretta Fitzpatrick (nee Kelly). Loving father of Terry (and Inez), Barry (and Debbie), Debbie Pearson (and Gary), Jerry (and Sylvia) and Karen Baetz (and Jim). Cherished Papa of Courtney, Casey, Janessa, Abby, Patrick, Ben, Ingrid, Kelly, Mathew, Thomas, and Millie; and great grandpa of Noah, and Joshua. Maurice was a WWII veteran, Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus, a proud employee of Ontario Hydro, and member of his church and community. He also loved to read, collect postcards and coins and was an avid gardener. Friends and family will be received at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Friday February 28, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the loving and caring staff of Cedarwood Village Nursing Home.
