Obituary of Mildred Virag

VIRAG, Mildred; After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Mildred passed away with the love of her family at Stedman Community Hospice on Saturday April 5, 2014, of Simcoe at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late John Virag. Cherished mother of Jerry (and Bonnie), Cheryl (and Lee) Rabbitts. Loving Grandma and Nana of Katie (and Mike), Tyler, and Ian. Dear sister of Catherine (and the late Leon) Beaudette, Leonard (and Irene), Murray (and Dale). Mildred will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Mildred was an active member of St. Mary's Parish, Simcoe, and a volunteer at Norfolk General Hospital Nursing Home and Norview Lodge. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11am. Deacon Frank Chowhan officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Stedman Community Hospice.
