Obituary of Ralph Hodgson

HODGSON, Ralph Thomas - After a courageous and hard fought battle, Ralph passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford, on April 26th, in his 87th year, with his loving family by his side. He is predeceased by Marion, his beloved wife of 60 years. Cherished father of Allan (Christina), Carol Beal, Marty (Tanya), Tom (Bobbie), and Wayne ( Kelly). Loving brother of Thelma Lorentz (Dick). Beloved grandfather of 15 grandchildren, great grandfather of 15, and dear uncle of several nephews and nieces. Ralph spent 33 years as a correctional officer and enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles, and flying. Friends will be welcomed at the Thompson-Mott FUNERAL HOME, 62 Main Street North, Waterford, ON, on Tuesday, April 29th from 7-9 p.m. A private funeral service for immediate and extended family, to celebrate Ralph's life, will be held at the Thompson-Mott FUNERAL HOME, on Wednesday, April 30th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Bookton Cemetery. Ralph's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff and volunteers at the Stedman Community Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
