Obituary of Doris Ferris

FERRIS, Betty; Peacefully with family by her side at Hardy Terrace, Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday June 3, 2014, formerly of Kitchener and Waterford in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Ferris. Loving mother of Marie Mercier (and Jon Banas). Cherished Gram of Deirdre (and Jeff) Tyrell, and great grandsons Brandon, Daniel and Nicholas. Dear sister of Joyce Cosley. Predeceased by son Douglas and great grandson John-Thomas (2014). Betty was an avid quilter with the ladies at Calvary United Church in Kitchener and involved for many years with the Women's Institute in Waterloo Region. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life for Betty will be held at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Saturday July 5, 2014 at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Landsdowne Children's Centre, where Betty's great grandson John-Thomas was greatly helped.
