Obituary of Lyle King

KING, Lyle Donald; The Lord has relieved Lyle of his suffering and has given him peace, on Thursday June 19, 2014 at his residence in Waterford in his 72nd year. Beloved husband for 50 years to Claudia (Utley). Loving father of Melissa (and Bryan) Guilbeault, Brad (and Carline), Greg (and Janine). Proud Grandpa of Matthew, Mark; Logan; Daniel, Benjamin, Aaron. Dear brother of Joyce Stewart, Merv (and Maureen), Janet Johnston, Ron (and Emily), brother-in-law Hugh Elliott, sister-in-law Mary King. Lyle will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by brothers Doug (and Jean), Paul, sisters Bette (and Robert), Lenora (and Robert), Norena, Joanne, and Jackie. Lyle was a Body and Fender Repair Man and Painter for over 40 years in Waterford, a long-time member of Villa Nova Baptist Church and a Waterford Lions Member for over 40 years. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Friday June 27, 2014 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Villa Nova Baptist Church Saturday June 28, 2014 at 11 am. Rev. Andrew Bunner officiating. Lions Service Friday 6:30 pm. A family interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
