WARDLAW, Grace Allison- October 12, 1923 - August 25, 2012; Peacefully, after a brief illness at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, Ontario. Greatly loved and missed by her husband Tom Wardlaw, sister Shiela (Smith) Mitchell, sister-in-law Janet Wardlaw, brother-in-law Bob Wardlaw and his wife Jane, sons David (Margaret), Robin (Rita More), Craig (Flora Simpson), Jonathan, grandchildren Sarah (Andrew Bryce), Alison, Andrew, James (Stephanie Nakitsas), Daniel, Duncan, Leithen, Rebecca, Mackenzie and two great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Aidan Bryce. She was a graduate of University of Toronto (B.A., Household Science, '46), a lifelong member of the United Church of Canada, and active in Waterford United Church. Above all, a devoted wife and mother who dedicated herself to sharing with others the blessings she had received. Grace made the world a more caring place through her leadership and many involvements in the community and a more beautiful place through her painting, weaving, quilting, and gardening. Visitation Tuesday, August 28, 2-4 and 7-9, at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. Funeral service at Waterford United Church, Wednesday, August 29 at 2 o'clock, Rev. Jeff Smith and Rev. Allan Burr presiding. Donations to the Waterford United Church Women (Mission Fund) would be appreciated.
