Obituary of Bradley Edwards

EDWARDS, Bradley George; This notice heralds the recent death of Bradley George Edwards (December 22, 1952 - July 31, 2014) at his home in Waterford, Ontario. Brad was the son of the late Leslie and Myrtle (née Beedle) Edwards. Brad was a long-time employee of Stelco / U.S. Steel and a member of USW Local 8782 (U.S. Steel Lake Erie Works). Brad's death is mourned by his son, Blake Edwards, and his daughter, Dayna Edwards; by his sister, Linda (Ralph) Field, together with their children, Stephanie (Allan Clark) Field and Katherine (Ian Serle) Field, and grandson Connor Serle; and by his brother, Alec (Barb) Edwards, and their children, Lindsay (Bill) Douglas and Jill (Andrew) Loague, and grandsons, Jalen and Isaiah Loague. Brad's death is also marked by Blake and Dayna's mother and step-father, Barbara and André Lavergne, together with their family. To respect Brad's wishes, cremation has taken place. Brad's family would be grateful for such memorials as people might choose. We appreciate the kindness of the OPP officers who responded and those who followed-up with family; the friendship of Tim McIlroy and the understanding of Joe Ondusko; the hospitality of Simcoe's Tastebudz; and the compassion and professional guidance of Dr. Roy Chivers and Jill Thompson.
