Obituary of Lorne Kozicki

KOZICKI, Lorne Robert; After spending the day on the tractor doing what he loved, Lorne unexpectedly with his family at his side, at West Haldimand Hospital Friday May 23, 2008, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Peggy (Spracklin). Loving father of Lorelie Kozicki (& Morris Zlomanczuk), Lisa (& Freddie) Mattice, & Shawn. Proud Dido of Harley, Hayley, Hayden, Heidi Mattice, & Addison Zlomanczuk. Dear brother of Frances Finch, Jerry (& Nancy), Denise Heaslip, sister-in-law Marilyn (Brian) & Shane Vecero, brothers-in-law Doug Swing, & Roy Spracklin. Lorne will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours, & cruising companions. Predeceased by parents Mike & Anne Kozicki, brothers Joe, & Donnie, sisters Olga Miles, Helen Taylor, Adeline Darlington, & Betty Marinuk. In Lorne's earlier years he was employed for 10 years with Dofasco, until achieving his dream of becoming a full time chicken farmer. A proud position he held for 34 years. Lorne enjoyed using the Cruise Cars and Antique Ford Tractors he lovingly restored. Friends are invited to share in their memories of Lorne at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Friday at 11am. Fr. Jim Dunne officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
