I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Applewhite. I recall many times walking into the cafe in Waterford and see his kind face or outside seeing him working away on his lovely flowers around town. My parents had only good things to say about him and his great contributions to this world in the form of his gentle personality and his focus on making his neighbourhood of Waterford and area a better place to live. I am sure mom, dad, Uncle George Romaniuk and others that have passed before are enjoying his company in heaven...the only place they could be...Diane Kokotilo in Vancouver, BC
