Obituary of Sam Holowatyj

HOLOWATYJ; Sam Peacefully in his sleep on June 30, 2008 at Norview Lodge in his 90th year. Predeceased by his parents Steve and Anna Holowatyj. Beloved husband of Maria Hemick. Dear Father of Annie (Bill), Barbara (George), Stella (Kevin), Steven (Kim) and Michael. Loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Mike and sister Barbara. He will also be sadly missed by his cousins Pauline and Mary in North America and his nieces and nephews in the Ukraine. Panachyda at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Ukranian Catholic Church, Waterford on Thursday at 10 am. Father E. Wolinski officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
