Obituary of Rosemary Sloat

SLOAT, Rosemary Aileen (Sharp); Rosemary passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday September 9, 2008 of RR#1 Waterford in her 74th year. Loving wife of Frank Sloat. Beloved mother of Joanne (& Ron) Davis, Bradley (& Rosa) Sloat, Allison (& Stephen) Rowe. Cherished Gramma of Jessica, Megan, Matthew; Kirsten, Kortnie, Sabrina, John; Jordan (& Angela), Jamie; & great grandson Willy. Predeceased by daughter Erma. Rosemary was a lifetime member of Bealton United Church, past president of Bealton Women's Institute, & played an active roll in Tops. Rosemary will be greatly missed by each and all of her family and friends & especially will be missed by Patches the home guard dog. Family will be receiving friends at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held Saturday in the chapel at 11am. Rev. Sheila Burns & Pastor Peter Lemont officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
