BARBER, John H. Unexpectedly at the Brantford General Hospital with his family by his side, peacefully on Monday January 19, 2009 of Wilsonville in his 75th year. Beloved husband for 45 years to Dianne (Snell). Loving father of Rob (& Deborah), Regan (& Lori), Reade (& Wendy). Proud Grandpa of Laura, Greg, & Logan. Predeceased by mother Laura (Arthur) & sister Anne Brown. John was an avid automobile enthusiast and a long-time member of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada, Long Point Region & Brantford Piston Pushers. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held Friday in the chapel at 11am. Rev. Jeff Smith officiating.
