Obituary of Daniel Walsh

WALSH, Daniel Joseph (Dan); Unexpectedly on Monday February 2, 2009, of Waterford at the age of 62. Loving husband of Elizabeth Drennan. Loved father of Lisa (& Darren Allen). Proud Grampa of Michael, Jamie, Daniel, Darren, Sarah, Justin, Jake, & Hayden. Dear brother of Marie (& Ray), Pat, Marg (& Os), Mike (& Anita), Joan (& Dave), all of Newfoundland, John of Toronto. Beloved son-in-law of Beth Drennan. Dan will also be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Jayne Drennan (& Allan Mikkelsen), Joan (& Larry) Maloney & their families, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by parents Daniel & Sadie Walsh, brothers Dominic, & Thomas, sister Suzie, son-in-law Michael Kelly, father-in-law Clarke Drennan, nephews Jaycee Maloney & David Brown. Dan was a proud Newfoundlander living in Ontario. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday in the chapel at 11am. Rev. Darlene Cunliffe, & Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
