LEFLER, Walter Anson, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday February 15, 2009, in his 87th year. Husband of the late Dorothy Overbaugh (2003). Father of Karen (& Frank) Casey and their children James (& Tiffany), Becky and Marissa; Bruce (& Anna) and their children Jennifer (& Chris), Kristopher (& Sarah), Ariel, and Jennifer (& Keith); Jim (& Marilyn) and their children Jeffery (& Christeen), Michael (& Jill), and David (& Danielle). Great-grandfather to Jake, Benjamin, Hunter, Odin, Rhonan, Conall, Declan, Ellie, Paige, Payton and Dylan. Sadly missed by sister, Mary Dickinson, and brothers Morley (& Ruth), and Allan (& Wanda). Predeceased by brother Lawrence and sisters Shirley and Helen. Walter is a retiree of Brewers Warehouse, long time supporter and member of the Lynn Valley Trail Association, member of the Oddfellows, Lodge 161 Simcoe and was a recipient of the diamond service award. Family and friends will be received at a celebration of Walter's life to be held at Old Windham United Church, Glendale Crescent, Simcoe on Thursday February 19, 2009 from 12-2pm. The family will gratefully acknowledge donations to the Alzheimer's Society in Walter's memory or charity of your choice.
