Obituary of Lena Storoschuk

STOROSCHUK Lena (Baba): It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our beautiful Mother, Lena who passed away gently Saturday March 14, 2009 in her 97th yr. at her home Norview Lodge. Beloved wife of the late William (1967). She leaves behind her children Sophie Derbyshire (Bill), Nettie Ferrell, Morris (Betty), Peter (Fran), Patti Dobias. She has 17 graandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Predeceased by son Paul (1996), son-in-laws Fred Derbyshire (1987), Bob Ferrell (2003), Steve Dobias (2007), 5 brothers and I sister. Baba was the oldest lifetime member of the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church and Ladies Auxiliary, Waterford. Baba will always be remembered with love as a very happy, smiling and always singing lady who was loved deeply by her family and her extended family, the Norview Staff. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT Funeral Home Waterford Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Service on Wednesday 10:00 am at the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church Waterford. Rev. Fr. Myroslav Shmyhelskyy officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Panakhyda Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm.
