COOK, Doris; At Norview Lodge on Monday May 25, 2009 of Waterford in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Rolph Cook. Daughter of the late Theodore Bowlby & Mae Miller. Loving aunt of Robert Stuart, Waterford; & Jean Kitchen (Don), Parry Sound. Sister-in-law of Blanche Bowlby, Ajax. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Ted Bowlby, & sisters Marjorie Stuart, Helen Hendershott, & Marie Pursley. Doris was a Brownie Leader for many years, Waterford Citizen of the year (1984), former member of Waterford Lioness, & Waterford Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Life member Order of Eastern Star, Provincial Life member of Volunteer Association Norfolk General Hospital & Nursing Home. Doris spent many years volunteering for many other organizations. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Tuesday 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 1:30pm. Rev. Larry Wiegand officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
