Obituary of Virginia Wiegand

WIEGAND, Mary Virginia (nee Clark); After a short courageous battle with cancer, Ginny, died Saturday June 20, 2009 surrounded by her family. Dearly loved and missed by her husband, Larry, her daughter Tanya and Michael, and son Monty and Andrea. Beloved brother David Clark and Mary and family; brother-in-law Wayne Wiegand and Judy and family; mother-in-law Edith Wiegand. Will be deeply cherished by her many friends in many places: Waterford, Lynden, Bobcaygeon, Silver Water, Manitoulin Island, and Kitchener. Was the ultimate mother to her family and a very strong helpmate to her husband in his ministry with the United Church in various Pastoral Charges over a period of 35 years. Her favourite pastime was floral design. She was a graduate of Mohawk in this field. She generously gave her time to many community and church activities. Friends will be received at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel at 2:00pm Thursday with Rev. Jeff Smith officiating, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery Waterford.
