July 6, 2009 Aunt Jean was a truly special woman. She had a wonderful sense of humour and loved her family deeply, including those she did not see very often. She never forgot a birthday and always took the time to ask how family members were doing. When I talked with Aunt Jean a couple weeks ago, she still had her trademark sense of humour and we had a lovely chat, even though she had just returned from treatment. She spoke with deep fondness of her love for her family. We would very much like to be with family members tomorrow at the funeral, but our family is in Nova Scotia and we cannot make it back in time. Please know that our thoughts and prayers will be with all her loved ones tomorrow, but especially Uncle Wilfred, Paul, Brenda and their families. We hope that our donation to her chosen charity will mean that good work will continue to be done in her memory because of her thoughtfulness and generosity.
