Obituary of Stanley Proracki

Proracki, Stanley Bernard passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 15 in his 59th year after battling arrhythmia, a heart condition, for three years. Beloved husband of Gail Elizabeth (Young) of Waterford. Stan is survived by parents Stanley William and Olga Mary of Simcoe and in-laws Ralph Young and Audrey Seymour of Hamilton; brothers Paul of Kitchener, Tony (and Michelle Jackson) of Waterford; beloved sisters Ava (and Rick Green) of Port Credit and Lana (and Ed Miskelly) of Calgary, Alberta. Stan was a favourite uncle of Alex, Natalie and David Proracki, Marta and Nicholas Green. Stan was pre-deceased by his mother-in-law Ann Young and brother-in-law Phil Young. Stan will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives and was well loved. A former employee of Stelco for 35 years, he enjoyed "tinkering and fixing" in his spare time. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Sunday 1-4pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Monday at 2pm. Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. In keeping with Stan's wishes, his organs have been donated and his remains will be cremated.
