Obituary of Walter Zdriluk

ZDRILUK, Walter J. Peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Saturday January 2, 2010 of Waterford in his 87th year. Beloved husband of May (Dick). Loving father of Deborah Zdriluk, Karen (and John) Diesbourg, David, Kathryn Buchan. Loved papa of Rob, John, Megan, Rebecca, Liam and great grandson Gryphon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Tony and Albert and daughter-in-law Beth. Walter was a Treasure Manager of the former Waterford Credit Union, self employed in market gardener, served 10 years on the Norfolk Board of Education, active member of the Waterford Horticultural Society, Supervisor of Glendale Training School ( Sprucedale Correctional Centre) and was a Veteran of World War 2. Walter being a true Horticulturalist had the ability to make anything grow through his love of flowers. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Monday 2-5pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, 10am at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church. Fr. Allan Dufraimont officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
