Obituary of Mary Winchar

WINCHAR, Mary (Grandma Mary): With the love of her family at the Norfolk General Hospital on Saturday January 23, 2010 of Waterford in her 93rd year. Loving Mother of Sandy and the late Wayne McDonald. Cherished Grandma of Jenn (and Tim) Bard, Heather (and Rick Gray). Great Baba of Maddie, Sam, and Katie. Dear sister of many brothers & sisters, both in Ontario and across Canada. Dear friend of Gerty and the late Leo McDonald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was raised near Turkey Point by her Aunt and Uncle Bill and Irene Pochai, but lived most of her life in Waterford. She will be lovingly remembered by many in the Waterford area as Grandma Mary. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Tuesday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday in the chapel at 11am. Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Cremation will follow with interment at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Waterford Trinity Anglican Church or Simcoe and District Humane Society.
