Pereira, Maria: It is with sadness the family announces the sudden death of Maria at Norfolk General Hospital on Tuesday November 20, 2012, of Waterford at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Jose. Loving mother of Ana Douglas, Paul (and Melissa). Cherished Vavo of Thomas, and Natasha Douglas. Dear sister of Antonio (and Ana Roza), Alda (and John), Estreila, Fatama (and John). Maria will also be missed by many relatives and friends. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Friday 6-9 pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Saturday at 11 am. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Parish Prayers Friday at 7:30 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
