Helen, Suzie, Rick, and Charlene, We were so very, very sorry to hear of Mikie's passing. What a wonderful, wonderful guy he was and we feel so blessed to know that he considered us friends. We have always enjoyed visits and parties with Mikie and your entire family, and have always been honoured to be welcomed and treated like family. Mikie's wonderful sense of humour and his youthful nature made it such a joy to be with him. We will always remember that most about him, as well as his devotion and love for his family. He always had something sweet to say about Helen, and their love affair that lasted more than half a century was one that made you believe in "happily ever after", "true love", and "soul mates". We were very sorry not to have been home from our vacation during this time, and most disappointed to have missed the memorial service. Please know that our thoughts, condolences and love were, and still are, with all of you. I have an image of Jim greeting Mikie with a beer and a scotch, and an afternoon tee-off time. With love and friendship, Sandi and Bob
