Obituary of Doris Hyde

HYDE, Doris(nee Davis); With her beloved husband Grant of 53 years at her side, Doris passed away suddenly at her residence in Bealton on Saturday May 8, 2010 at the age of 73. Loving mother of Gary (and Angela), John (and Sharon), Wendy (and Anthony) Battaglia. Cherished Grandma of Miranda, Nova; Amber, Natalie, Patrick; Marissa, Alicia, and Robert. Dear sister of Alvin (and Hazel) Davis, Reta (and Keith) Johnston, Florence (and Bob) Ridge, Nellie (and Ed) Walsh. Doris will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Doris was an active member of the Oakland United Church, member of Bealton Women's Institute. Doris was devoted to her family and her farming community. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Oakland United Church, Wednesday at 2pm. Rev. Sheila Burns officiating.
