Obituary of Walter O'Robko

O'ROBKO, Walter; Surrounded by family at Norfolk General Hospital, on Friday May 14, 2010, of Heritage Lodge, formerly of Waterford, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Tena (Prodan) 2001. Loved father and Grandfather of Susan (and Lloyd) Collver, Windham Centre; their daughters Tara (and fiancé Darryl), Cindy (and Kevin). Dear brother of Ena Parker and Helen Bonneville, both of U.S.A. Also survived by nephew Gerry (and Linda) O'Robko, as well as many other nieces and nephews in U.S.A. and Western Provinces. Cherished best friend of Irma Green, Heritage Lodge. Predeceased by brothers Fred, and John and sister Lena Keverygo. Walter served in WWII in the Royal Canadian Air Force, coming back to Waterford working as a Barber, and then later on retiring from Tobacco Farming. Cremation will take place and a private family service will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, or Norfolk General Hospital.
