Dear Mary Anne, Susan, Janet and families: I am sending you dear cousins all our sympathy as you mourn your Father while your hearts are still heavy with the loss of your Mother. Mary Anne, as you recounted to your Aunt Katie, your Father has surely passed away because of a broken heart. My thoughts of my Uncle Joe are of a broadly-smiling face accompanied by a twinkle in the eye, soon to be followed by teasing (of kids), and then letting loose with chuckles and maybe a chase ending in tickles. I will not be with you next week, but you can be sure that I am continuing to pray for all of you as you grieve.
