LESAGE, Marie (Coudenys) of Waterford, born in Klerken, Belgium, near Houthulst on July 12, 1924. Died July 7, 2010, at Grand River Hospital Kitchener, five days before her 86th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Julius Lesage (1971). She will be sadly missed by her brother, Marcel and his wife Irma, her nieces and nephews, Jennie & Larry Breen, Jerome & Rita Coudenys, Perry & Lillianne Coudenys, Mary & Donald Patenaude, Larry & Patti Coudenys, Marcel & Kim Coudenys, Jeanet Barrett, Etienne Goossens and all their children. Marie is predeceased by parents Jerome (1938) and Madleine (1983), sisters, Yvonne (1950), and Simonne (2007), sister-in-law Bernice Coudenys, (1964) two brothers-in-law, William Lesage (1972) and Remi Lauwerier (1997), two nieces, Denise Coudenys (1990), Annie Goossens (2009), and nephew Harry Barrett (2009). Marie and her husband Julius grew tobacco near Langton, were members of the Independent Order of Foresters for many years and Marie was also a member of the Catholic Women League first in Langton and then in Waterford. In Langton she took charge of many cooking events. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of a Christian Burial Saturday 10am at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish. Fr. Allan Dufraimont officiating. Interment Langton Cemetery. Parish Prayers Friday 7:30pm.
