Obituary of James Plumb

PLUMB, James; With sadness the family announces the passing of James Samuel Reilly Plumb at Norfolk General Hospital on Saturday September 11, 2010 of Port Dover in his 87th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy (Roper, April 2010) and son David (May 2010). Loving father of Diane (and Rick) Baughman, Mark (and Irene), Melanie Wilson, daughter-in-law Dianne Plumb and son-in-law Brad Wilson. Jim was the fun loving grandpa to 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Jim proudly served in World War Two in the Canadian Light Infantry and was on Juno Beach. Friends may call at the GRACE UNITED CHURCH, Port Dover Monday 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Grace United Chruch on Tuesday at 11am. Interment Port Dover Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Grace United Church.
