Obituary of Stephen Chary

CHARY, Stephen; With sorrow his family announces the passing of Stephen (Steve) Chary on Tuesday September 14, 2010, at the Hardy Terrace Nursing Home. He was in his 95th year and is survived by loving wife Marie, his children Miriam (and Steve) Worley, Steven (and Jenifer) and John (and Adrienne Crowdis), and sisters Helen Magalas, and Mary Holotiuk. Also proud grandpa to Michael, Robbie, Stephen, and John. Predeceased by sisters Theresa, Anne, and Lena. Steve was born in Coniston, Ontario and moved to Waterford in 1926. Steve started farming at a young age, and continued to farm all his life along side his wife. Steve was always ready to play cards or visit with friends. His quiet presence will be greatly missed by all of us. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Thursday September 16, 2010 from 6-9pm. A family celebration of Steve's life will follow at a later date.
