Obituary of Nicholas Chychul

CHYCHUL, Nicholas (Nick)- of Waterford went to be with his Lord and Saviour after a brief four month battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 4, 2010. He was in his 86th year. Nick retired at 65 from a career in sales and thereafter devoted himself to his family and enjoyed his passion for the garden and blue grass music. His understated and generous demeanour will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Helen of 60 years; children John (Luba), Clayton (Lori) and Judy (Paul); grandchildren Steven, Rebecca and Heather and "bestest friend" Talia. He is also survived by brothers Peter, Bill, Paul, Edward and sister Mary Skolski and predeceased by brothers John and Tom. Resting at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, 62 Main St. N. Waterford (519) 443-5332, friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, December 6th from 7pm to 9pm followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, December 7th at 1:30pm.
