Obituary of Garry Dew

DEW, Garry Ray; It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Garry Ray Dew of Waterford on Saturday January 5, 2013 at Hamilton General Hospital, at the age of 67. Garry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Judie, and their children Jennifer (Dennis), Jamie (Jessica), Geoff (Kristin) as well as his grandchildren Ricky, Dylan, Ryleigh, Sydney and new baby on the way. He also leaves his mother, Nellie Dew, sister Dorene (Jim) Powell, brothers Donald (Heather), and Brian (Judi); mother-in-law Doreen (Cliff) Persall, sister and brother-in-law Sharon (Dan) Scott, Doug Valley, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Earl Dew. Garry worked for 38 years at Canadian Bluebird. He was a longtime member of Historical Automobile Society of Canada Long Point Region. Upon retirement he was likely to be found cruising around Waterford in his '65 Mustang or strolling down Bruce Street with his little dog Mia.
