I served with Jerry in the early nineties when our office of 5 personnel were responsible for buying all of the desktop computers for the Canadian Forces. At that time you could not even order an amber screen without 4 pages of justification. Jerry has, and will be missed. The rat’s a.. stick which Jerry used to keep contractors at arms length may now be retired with dignity. Ted Kendell, Solange Godin Ottawa

To Anne McSherry and family, I just received an email from Tom Bull who forwarded an email originated by Ed Ripley regarding Jerry's passing. I thank Ed and Tom for letting me know. I have fond memories of Jerry as a co-worker and friend. Louise and I send our most sincere condolences to all those who have loved Jerry and are sad at his passing. He struggled long and hard with his heart problems but he never let it get him down. Thanks to Steve and Darlene Landry for keeping me informed about his life since leaving Ottawa. We wish that we could attend the celebration of his life because it was an amazing adventure. We will be there in our hearts. May God bless and keep you and may He look after Jerry in his new home. John and Louise Goodson

Anne. Please accept my condolences on your loss. You may remember me as we did meet socially a few times when I had the privilege of working with Jerry at the Canadian Building in Ottawa in the early 1990'3. In my 35 plus years in the military I always considered Jerry to be one of the finest CWOs I ever met. Jerry, to me, was a "straight arrow" who could always be relied upon to give a "straight answer." Take care and pass my regards to Darlene and Steve.
