Obituary of Lorne Vince

VINCE, Lorne; Passed away peacefully at the Norview Lodge on Sunday October 2, 2011, at the age of 93. Predeceased by his wife Lillian (Golding). Loving father of Kenneth (Nora), Brantford; Joyce Stover (Daniel), Windsor; & Richard (Miriam), Creemore. Dear grandfather of Shaun (Jennifer), Christopher (Yuka), Laura McCallum (Mike), Andrew (Rebecca), Katherine Coutts (Arthur), Ellen Stover Bali (Chris), Susan Stover, Jane Stover, Alexander Stover. Great grandfather of Kento Vince, Nicole Vince, Owen Vince, Anne Coutts, Tristan Vince, Logan McCallum, Sara Coutts, Aidhan Vince, Eva Stover Bali. Brother of Eva Broadley (Al), Waterford. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by brothers Joseph, Clifford, & Albert, and sisters Adeline Walker, Audrey Morris, and Mary Sloat. Lorne was an Air Force Veteran of W.W.II; also recipient of the Distinguished Flying Medal. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Wednesday October 5, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday October 6, 2011 at 11 am. Rev. John Maich officiating. Interment Wilsonville Cemetery.
