Carol, I just found your Mom's obituary after learning about your Uncle Bob's recent death. My older sister (89) explained to me that your great grandfather Camplin and my grandmother Real, were brother and sister.
But, a little more recently, I remember your Mom and Dad visiting my sister Meredith in St. Michael's hospital in 1966-67, where she spent several months as a quadriplegic, following a car accident. They were faithful regular visitors, much appreciated by our family who resided outside the city. I remember their references to a daughter, and you may have visited as well. Meredith passed away in 1971, but Chris and Jack still come up in family conversations about those days. They were the greatest! Probably family traits. Another good thought to treasure!
Many thanks, still.

Carol, I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was always such a classy lady. I remember how welcoming she was when I was at school in Toronto and she and your Dad would pick me up and take me to your place for a visit.
I know you will miss her so much. Hopefully it comforts you knowing what a support you have been to her since your Dad died. You and John meant the world to her.

How saddened I was to hear that Chris had passed away. Even though we hadn't kept in touch for years, I thought of her many times. She was always in attendance at our family picnics and social gatherings. My deepest sympathies to Carol and her family as she grieves the loss of her mom.

The best holiday ever!
You will always be with us Auntie Chrissie but we'll miss hearing your voice. Your were always the first person, every year, to wish us happy new year and it's not going to be the same without you. We always had a good laugh on our catchup calls. I'll always admire your strength, resilience, and sheer determination to live life to the full. Thank you for all the cherished memories that we will hold in our hearts forever.
We love you Auntie Chrissie xxxx
