Obituary of Douglas Goodwin

GOODWIN, Douglas Wray; of Waterford passed away surrounded by the love of his family at Norfolk General Hospital on Tuesday February 12, 2013, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Colleen (Hare). Loving father of Todd (and Theresa), Tanya (and Greg). Proud Papa of Ashton, Noah, Carter; Mckenzie, Nathan, and Megan. Dear brother of Bob (and Pat). Doug will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extednded family and friends. Predeceased by parents Wray and Sadie Goodwin. Doug was owner operator of Downtown Barber Shop, in Simcoe for 30 years. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish on Saturday at 11 am. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Valerie Walsh Fund.
