MELS, Yolande – With her loving family by her side at Norfolk General Hospital on Sunday November 15, 2015, of Vanessa in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Vern Mels. Loving mother of Nancy (and Bob) Kozak, Larry (and Ellen) Mels, daughter-in-law Liz and the late David Mels. Cherished grandma of Jen (and Michael), Jeff (and Jenn), Brent (and Helen), Tara (and Scott), David (and Carla), Sarah (and Matt), Dakota, and great grandchildren Allie, Ryan, Alexa, Shaelyn, Diem, Riley, Khloe, Hayden, Ryder, Kaydi. Also survived by sister-in-law Mary Woynarski, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by sister Yvonne Loomis. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Tuesday 4-7pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish Wednesday at 11am. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
