Obituary of LYLE LITCHFIELD WOOD

WOOD, Lyle Litchfield – Peacefully at Leisure World Nursing Home, Brantford on Sunday March 20, 2016 of Waterford in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Edna (Turton). Loving father of Diana McKenzie, Douglas (and Brenda), Linda (and Ken) Mathers, James (and Debra), Brian, Jack (and Kim), Tom (and Candy). Proud grandpa of 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Predeceased by son Patrick, son-in-law Lorne, brothers Thomas, Jack, Gordon, Ted, and sister Gertrude. A Celebration of Life for Lyle will be held Sunday April 3, 2016 at Waterford Legion Branch #123 from 2-4. Words of memory will be said at 3pm with Rev. Allan Burr officiating. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Society or Waterford Legion.
