Obituary of FERN PATRICIA HALL

HALL, Fern Patricia – April 19, 1930 – May 6, 2016, Fern passed away peacefully with family by her side at Norfolk General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Hall. Fern will be sadly missed by sons Hugh and Larry, and daughters Anne (and Doug) Kendrick, Sara (and Scott) Persall. Her devotion to her friends, family and grandchildren Jillian and Emily Kendrick, Sydney and Amelia Hall, Ethan, Justin, and Lauren Persall will not be forgotten. Also missed by her siblings, Carol Chadwick, James (and Judy) Moses, Janet Moses, Hugh (and Peggy) Moses, and Cori (and Ron) Angus, as well as many nieces, nephews and Donna Hall. Predeceased by sons Timothy and David, brother Richard, and sister Joan McComb. Fern was a member of Villa Nova Baptist Church, an active participant in the church family for many years. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Thursday June 2, 2016 7-9pm. A Celebration of Fern's life will be held in the chapel Friday June 3, 2016 at 11am. Rev. Andrew Bunner officiating. Inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Villa Nova Baptist Church or Canadian Bible Society.
