Obituary of LORNA JEAN HUFFMAN

HUFFMAN, Lorna (Jull) – It is with great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Lorna Huffman on Friday September 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Norfolk General Hospital in her 87th year. Youngest daughter of Albert and Charlotte Jull, loving wife of 59 years of the late Doug Huffman (2009). Loving mother of Nancy and Karl Hankai, Rick and Kathy. Cherished Grandma to Damien (and Maryellen), Brandon (and Barbara), Courtland, Amanda (and Laurie), Bradley (and Kandis). Great Grandma to Bryce, Josh, Jacob, Liam, Ashlin, Cameron. Will be greatly missed by sister Marie Millar, sisters-in-law Mary Huffman, Cynthia Burroughs, brother-in-law Lieth Vincent as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by children Janet, Robert, Archie, Patricia, and Glen (1961), brothers Frank (and Betty), Jim (and Jessie) Jull, sisters Edna (and Thurman) Smith, Margaret Vincent, brothers-in-law Jim Millar, Clare Huffman and William Burroughs. Lorna worked as a dental assistant for many years for Dr. Gerald MacPherson, and retired from Norview Lodge after many years employed as a payroll clerk. Lorna had a great passion for music, golf, reading, knitting and was an active member of the Windham Centre Presbyterian Church. Lorna loved to watch Rick play ball and attended as many sporting events as possible that her grandchildren were in. Doug and Lorna went everywhere together and could be seen daily in one of the local coffee shops or restaurants. Friends may call at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 1 pm. Rev. Rob Shaw officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake, or Canadian Diabetes Association.
