Obituary of MARGARET LUCILLE PHILLIPS

PHILLIPS, (Margaret) Lucille (nee Smith) – Peacefully at Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home on Tuesday October 4, 2016, of Waterford. Lucille was born in St. Thomas August 4, 1930. Predeceased by loving husband Clair Phillips (1995), infant son Daniel (1950), son Gordon (2014), sister Vera Werchalaz & parents Everett and Ethel Smith. Loving mother of Steven (and Brenda), Trudy Phillips, Martha (and Mike) Cassivi. Grandmother of Scott (and April), Ryan, Becky (and Chris), and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Norma Dredge-Travale, Joy Geerts, Maxine Avey, Marion Osborne, Faye Litt, son-in-law Howard Croft, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lucille was a member of Waterford Baptist Church and Mission Circle. Friends may call at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, on Friday October 7, 2016 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Saturday October 8, 2016 at 11 am. Rev. Allan Burr officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
