Obituary of JOHN EDWARD POIRIER

POIRIER, John Eddie – Surrounded by the love of his family at Norfolk General Hospital on Wednesday November 30, 2016, of Waterford at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Sandy (Gill). Loving father of Lee (and Melissa), Kelly (and Shawn). Proud Papa of Jordan, Alyssa, Delilah, and T.J. Dear brother of Dianne (and Harvey) McIntyre, Marie Poirier, Stanley (and Diane), Florence (and Pat) Cumbo, Marilyn Bell. Eddie will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by parents John and Melvina, sisters Eva Gallant, and Linda Perry. Friends may call at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford, on Saturday December 3, 2016 from 1-4 pm. for a time to share memories of Eddie with his family. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
