Obituary of CHARLES ELVYN SPEARING

SPEARING, Charlie – It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Charlie at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday December 17, 2016, of Ayr formerly of Waterford at the age of 87. Beloved husband for 64 years to Phyllis (O'Connor). Loving dad of Chuck (and Cindy), Mike (and Janet), John (and Jenn), Tammy (and Jason) Rolleman, John (and Debby) Elliott. Proud Grandpa & Pa of Allan (and Deanna), Miranda (and Flynn), Eric, Justin, Chloe, Grace, Averi, Marci, and great grandchildren Alyvia, Colton, Austin, Kyia. Dear brother-in-law of Sylvia Spearing, Brenda Burnard, Fred (and Dawn) O'Connor. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by sisters Lillian DeSilva, Inez McIntyre, & brother Robert. Charlie was a retired electrician from Nanticoke Refinery, faithful member of Trinity Anglican Church Waterford, and Past Master of Wilson Masonic Lodge 113. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Wednesday December 21, 2016 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Thursday December 22, 2016 at 11am. Rev. Bill Graham & Rev. Sandy Sinnick officiating. Masonic Service Wednesday at 6:30pm. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Trinity Anglican Church Waterford or Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
