Obituary of Florence Islip

ISLIP, Florence Elizabeth; Peacefully with the love of her family by her side at Cedarwood Village, Simcoe, on Sunday March 17, 2013 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late James Islip, and her 1st husband Harold Gibbs. Loving mother of Barbara (and Jim) Melville, David (and Lynda). Cherished Nana of Jamie Melville, Tiffany (and Andrew) Swanson, Bill (and Joanne) Islip, and great grandchildren Gabriella, Van, and Angela. Predeceased by daughter of Karin Gibbs. Florence was a life time member of the Waterford Legion Branch 123, and member of Trinity Anglican Church. Friends may call at the THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Thursday 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 2pm. Rev. Adolph Hahn officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service Thursday 6:30pm.
