Obituary of STEVE SKOBLENICK

SKOBLENICK, Steve – Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Monday April 17, 2017, of Waterford at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Josephine (Willems). Loved father of Stephanie (and Roger) Reynolds, Kevin (and Stevi), and Janice. Proud Grandpa of Malcolm and Elliot Reynolds. Kind and loving son of Joseph and Vera Skoblenick. Dear brother of Nick (and Luba), Harry (and Brenda), Allan (and Carol) and brother-in-law of Peter (and Elsie) Willems, Anne (and Maro) Vanrooy, Ricki (and Gilbert) Vansteelandt, Gerda (and Cor) VandenHoven, Maria Vogels. Steve will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held Thursday April 20, 2017 at 11am at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be held Wednesday at 7:30pm. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Three Wishes Project at St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation, Juravinski Hospital, or Norfolk General Hospital.
