Obituary of GERALD DOUGLAS VALLEY

VALLEY, Gerald Douglas (Doug) – With profound sadness we announce Doug's peaceful passing after a short illness at Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday August 3, 2017, surrounded by his family. Doug was in his 65th year and is survived by his sisters, Sharon Scott (and Dan) and Judie Dew (and the late Garry), stepfather Cliffe Persall, and wife Linda. Also greatly missed by nieces and nephews Jennifer (and Dennis Hill), Jamie (and Jessica), Geoff (and Kristin), Ainsley, and Lindsay, many grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by father Percy Valley, mother Doreen Giles-Persall and stepfather William Giles. Special thanks to Hardy Terrace and the wonderful staff at BGH Critical Care Unit for their exceptional care and compassion. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford, Tuesday August 8, 2017 from 12 pm until service time at 2 pm.
