Obituary of CLENDON MURRAY SLAGHT

SLAGHT, Clendon Murray – Has passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 8, 2017 at Brantford General Hospital with his family at his side at the age of 89. Loving husband and best friend of Mary (McLellan). Loved father of Philip and Loree Slaght, Sharon and Jason Holdsworth, and the late Brent Slaght. Proud grandfather of Patricia & Dale Kloepfer, Kathryn and Conor Fanning, Brent and Anina Slaght, Andrew Slaght, Zachary, Micah, Caleb, and Eliana Holdsworth, and great grandson Charlie Kloepfer. Dear brother of Ron and Mildred Slaght, Bob and Carolyn Slaght. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Lorence and Jeana Slaght, and sister Rosemarie and Victor Vivian. Clendon farmed all his life in the Boston area and was a lover of nature, especially birds. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Friday August 11, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday August 12, 2017 at 11am. Rev. Peter Lemont officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
